This is where I will post pictures of the items I make.
I love to work with bug killed pine and turn it into something to look at, play with and use.
We have our own sawmill, so cutting lumber to use is not a problem. We cut, plane and use the pine for everything around the homestead. Making toys, puzzles and other objects is another use for this wonderful wood that might otherwise go to waste.
Although this bug killed pine is a sad saga in our forests, we strive to make use of the trees any way we can.

We toyed with the idea of getting a small mill here... How cool that you put it to good use. We use our downed trees (mostly poplar and oak with some pine) for our wood stove, we have so many that we have more firewood than we'll ever use. Oak blight and some kind of pine beetles have been rough on our woods.
